Inspired from her sister at age 5, Ashley spent 16 years of her life, 20 hours a week, waterlogged and had a successful swim career. She medaled at provincials, qualified for junior nationals, competed for Canada at an international meet in Italy, and had enjoyed many trips across Canada and the US. She finished her swimming career at Laurentian University, after battling injuries that became overwhelming. She learned at a very young age that in order to be successful, she had to be dedicated, committed and have the drive to be the best you can!
When her swimming career ended, she struggled for 7 years to figure out who she was since she was no longer an ‘athlete’. She did her first fundamental training at Crossbones Crossfit and she was hooked but after two years of training at Crossbones, she found Crossfit Colosseum, where her LOVE for Crossfit grew tenfold. She began coaching in 2016 and absolutely loves it. Watching athletes move outside of their comfort zones and push themselves beyond what they ever thought possible is what completely lights her up! This precision nutrition coach, crossfit coach, competitive swim athlete & coach (of 25 years of experience), crossfit athlete and coach, and 5 year Ride to Conquer cancer rider is excited to bring on clients of all athletic background (if any!). All her nutrition programs and packages are personally designed! .
